How do I link my button?

This is how you can set a button as a link:

- Edit the button you’d like to set as a link by left-clicking on it

Select the button

- Click on the ‘Link’ icon and the ‘Link type’ window will pop up

Link the button

1. To set the selected button as an External Link pointing to an external Website:
  • Select ‘External Link’ from the ‘Link type’ window [a]
  • Enter the external Website URL in the ‘Location (URL)’ field [b]
  • From the Dropdown list ‘This link will open in’, select whether the link will open in a new or in the same window [c] then hit ‘OK’ to validate

Republish your Website by going to ‘File’ and hitting ‘Publish Live’

After republishing your Website, when clicking online on the linked button, the visitor will be automatically redirected to the external Website the link is set with.


2. To set the selected button as an Internal Link pointing to a Webpage of your Website:
  • Select ‘Link to page within this site’ from the ‘Link type’ window [a]
  • Left-click on the Webpage the link will be pointing to in order to select it [b]
  • If the page you’d like to link to is a subpage, click on + next to the main page containing then select it
  • Hit ‘OK’ to validate

Republish your Website by going to ‘File’ and clicking on ‘Publish Live’

After republishing your Website, when clicking on the linked button, the visitor will be automatically redirected to the Webpage the link is set with.


3. To set the selected button as an Email Link:
  • Select ‘Email Link’ from the ‘Link type’ window
  • Enter the email address the link will be set up with in the ‘Email Address’ field
  • If you click on the ‘Default address’ tab, the ‘Email Address’ field will be automatically filled in with the e-mail address your Cabanova account is associated with
(The ‘Subject’ and ‘Predefined content’ fields are optional but we’ll fill in them to better understand what they are useful for)
  • In the ‘Subject’ field, we’ll enter ‘Information Request’ for example
  • In the ‘Predefined content’ field, we’ll enter ‘Hello! I would like to find out more about your services. Thank you!’
  • Hit ‘OK’ to validate


Email Link

Republish your Website by going to ‘File’ and hitting ‘Publish Live’

Publish Live

After republishing your Website, when a visitor clicks on the linked button, his default email client (Outlook, Apple Mail, Windows Live Mail…) will start automatically with a ‘Compose Message’ window, prefilled with the following information:

   Send to: The address the email link is set with

   Subject: Information Request

   Message: Hello! I would like to find out more about your services. Thank you!’

And all the visitor needs to do is to hit the ‘Send’ button.
