How do I add content into my mobile website?
Posted by Sanjeev Kanth on 16 June 2011 05:44 PM
By default, the mobile version of your website has no content. Via drag and drop you can populate your pages quickly and easily.|
In the editor, select the “Mobile” tab [a] from the main menu. Here you will find all the tools necessary for customizing your mobile version.
Click on the icon “Mobile Panel” [b] and a popup window will open where you can add content to your pages.
Select any object within your website page. Then press and hold the left mouse button on the edge of the selected object and drag it into the popup window and then release the mouse button. You will see your object displayed in the mobile panel.
Note: Due to the technical differences and smaller screen size of the mobile version, some objects will not look the same in your mobile version as in your regular Flash version. Some objects cannot be used in the mobile version at all. When you try to add one of these items you will see a small red icon (a) appear as you hover the mouse over the mobile panel. You will find a compatibility list here.
Multiple pages in your mobile website
You do not have to add all the content from all your website pages into your mobile version. If you do not add any objects in to your mobile version for a particular page in your website, then the corresponding menu point in your mobile navigation will also not be displayed.
Select a different page
To select a different page to add objects for your mobile website, click on the appropriate page in the main site structure area of the website builder and the mobile panel will automatically also switch to the same page.
