More languages: Cabanova now available in Portuguese

Up until now, Cabanova was available in four languages: English, German, French and Romanian. More Flexible: Insert Vimeo videos into your website

We had many requests from members who wanted to insert their Vimeo videos directly into their websites, so what did we do? We added the feature! More Social: Google Badges now available

Google recently added some cool new widgets that help visitors to your website connect with you and your company on Google+. You can now add the new Google Plus Profile Badge and Google Plus Page Badges onto your website. To add these to your site, select “Insert [a] > Widgets [b] > Google Plus [c] > Google Plus Badge [d]”.

Wow, what a day and what a night! After months of hard work preparing the Portuguese Language version of Cabanova, we successfully released it online. And what better place for the official launch party than on the breathtaking Portuguese island of Madeira where the sun shines more than 300 days a year.

Because we were (and still are) so excited about the launch, we wanted to celebrate with an energetic party, so as a location we chose the best salsa club on the island – el malecon. As the guests started arriving, they were able to view the stunning sunset directly from the bar terrace, sipping freshly-made mojitos prepared by resident barman Miguel.

After the sun went down we all moved inside and got started with the more formal part of the evening – the official presentation and launch of www.cabanova.pt. Presented by Karl Weyers and Sebastian Schmitz, the managing partners of Cabanova, an entertaining history of the 10-year evolution of the company and the website builder was shown. This was followed by a countdown after which www.cabanova.pt was released live online.

To show what can be done with the Cabanova website builder, we launched a brand new website for the el Malecon salsa club (www.salsa-club-madeira.com) directly afterwards.

The Portuguese version is the fifth language Cabanova offers, after English, German, French and Romanian.

And that must be celebrated! Over 200 guests from the economical, political, press and entertainment industry will be joining us at this “Noite de Festa” at the El Malecon Salsa Bar in Funchal, Madeira to witness the live launch of www.cabanova.pt.

The presentation of the new www.cabanova.pt website will be followed by entertaining acts including a latin dance show and the ever popular local live band “Kontraband”.

There is also another good reason to celebrate: In the same evening the brand new El Malecon Salsa Bar website will also go online, as a stunning example of the flexibility and control that the Cabanova website builder offers.

Now you can choose one domain (or Cabanova sub-domain) that will function as your primary domain for search engines. Any other domains attached to your website will then automatically be redirected to your primary domain. This simplifies the process for registering your website with services such as Google Webmaster tools, and also serves as an optimization for search engines. Having a primary domain for search engines means that your search engine ranking will no longer be diluted across all your domains.
